VISAS

 

Citizens of the State of Israel with Passport and / or Provisional Travel Document granted by Israel, do not need Visa to enter territory of the Republic of Paraguay for periods no longer than 90 days.

 

Requirements for obtaining a non-resident VISA (Tourism - Technical)

 

1. Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of issuance of the visa.

2. Application completed and signed by the holder of the passport.

3. A passport-sized photograph. 5x5 cm white background

4. Travel itinerary.

5. Copy of air tickets. In case of an official or business trip, letter from the institution or company explaining the reason for the trip.

6. Copy of the page of the Passport stating the Visa or Seal of entry to the country in case of not being resident in the State in which the process is performed.

7. Copy of the Residence Card, in case of a foreign resident in the State where the procedure is perfomed.       In the case of under-age , the application must be signed by both parents and presented together with the child's birth certificate. If the child travels alone, with a single parent or a third party, an authorization signed before a notary public is required, along with a copy of the parents' identity documents.

8. The costs of the Visas are:

• 50 USD - Non-Resident Visa for a single entry

• 85 U$D - Non-resident Visa Multiple Entry

• This must be paid in cash in United States Dollars.

The appearance in this Embassy of those applying for visas is MANDATORY and those persons who can not attend personally can request a special authorization to the General Direction of Consular Affairs, in order to apply for a Visa Without Appearance. This must be handled personally by a representative of the Applicant. NO MAIL VISAS WILL BE GRANTED.

VISAS ON ARRIVAL
 

The NON-RESIDENT Visas on Arrival are provided at the "Silvio Pettirossi" International Airport in Asunción, Paraguay. Those visas will only be valid for the maximum  period of ninety (90) days.
 

The requirements to obtain the Visa on Arrival are:

1. Valid passport.
2. Payment IN CASH for the established amount.
 

Costs for the Visas on Arrival are as follows:

Citizens of CANADA                                                        U$S 150.00

Citizens of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA                   U$S 160.00

Citizens of NEW ZELAND                                               U$S 140.00

Citizens of CHINA (TAIWAN)                                         U$S 100.00

                                                        

Only citizens of the countries listed above can obtain the Visa on Arrival. Citizens of other countries must apply previously at the Consulate in person.

OBSERVATION: The visas granted must be used in the following six months, in order to activate their validity, otherwise the application for a new visa must be made.
