The Republic of Paraguay (Spanish: República del Paraguay; Guarani: Tetã Paraguái), is a landlocked country in central South America, bordered by Argentina to the South and Southwest, Brazil to the East and Northeast, and Bolivia to the Northwest.
Our Embassy has a Consular Section at the service of paraguayan citizens and foreigners requiring consular assistance or services such as issuance of Passports, Safe-conduct, Visas, Legalizations, among others.
The Paraguayan economy is characterized by the predominance of the agricultural, commercial and service sectors. The Paraguayan economy is the fifteenth largest economy in Latin America in terms of nominal gross domestic product (GDP), 11th in terms of GDP at purchasing power parity prices.
Paraguay and Israel
At the unilateral initiative of the Paraguayan Government, the Paraguayan Embassy in the State of Israel was reopened after 13 years of having closed the previous Diplomatic Representation.
The Paraguayan Embassy in Israel strengthens political and economic ties among the peoples of Israel and Paraguay, contribuiting for a prosperous future of both nations.
