OFFICIAL VISTI TO ISRAEL OF THE GENERAL SECRETARY OF OAS
09/08/17 - His Excellency, Ambassador Max Haber Neumann, attended the welcome reception hosted by the WJC (World Jewish Congress), in honor of S.E. Ambassador Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), who is carrying out an official visit to the State of Israel.
In the ocassion, H.E. Gral . Sec. Almagro, gave a speech of the vision of the OAS on the current situation at the regional level from the political point of view and the relations of the members of OAS with Israel.
Between others were present Mr. Gad Ariely, President of WJC - Israel, the Director General for Latin America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, H.E. Modi Ephraim and the Ambassadors of GRULAC.

08/08/17 - H.E. Ambassador Max Haber Neumann attended the Closing Ceremony of the "Police and Community" seminaire offered by the International Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel - MASHAV, which was at the Beit Berl International Leadership Institute, Kfar Saba.

The Ambassador Max Haber, was present at the Opening Ceremony of the XVII Folklore Festival of Israel, MAATAF 2017, in which the paraguayan group KOVE is partcipating, with several presentations all across Israel, until july 6, with the last presentation at Holon City Hall.

The Embassy of Paraguay in Israel was present at the conference and discussion organized by the Institute for National Security Studies INSS whose Managing Director of INSS Brig.Gen.(res.) Udi Dekel developed the forum, offered to the members of the Diplomatic Corps
The main issues discussed were about the current threats to the Israel national security in a Middle East region scenario.
Direct as well as indirect potential impacts of instability in Syria, Iraq and Yemen and the challenges for the State of Israel, Including the conflict with Palestine, the need to reach progressive agreements aimed at ending in a medium to long term , this conflict .
"Social Integration of Marginalized Youth" - BEIT BERL

Ambassador Max Haber was present at the closing ceremony of the Professional Seminar on "Social Integration of Marginalized Youth" at the International Leadership Institute Beit Berl - Kfar Saba, Israel. Our compatriots Celso Luis Ruiz Notario, Alfredo Nicolas Gaona Rojas and Omar Alejandro Cabrera Abad successfully completed this seminar .
Ambassador Haber, together with authorities of the International Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, MASHAV, handed over the corresponding diplomas to the mentioned.

The Embassy of Paraguay in Israel was present at the Herzliya XVII Annual Conference on : Israel - Strategic Balance - Risks and Opportunities held at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya - IDC.
On this event experts in Israel politics and defense as well as important participants in international forums on Fight against terrorism at global and worldwide level developed their dissertations.
DAY OF PARAGUAY - INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR OF JERUSALEM 2017
14/06/2017 - As part of the celebrations for the centenary of the birth of the writer AUGUSTO ROA BASTOS, the Embassy partIcipaded in the Stand of HISPANOAMERICAN LETTERS, paying tribute to one of the greatest Paraguayan writers.
After reading the resume of Roa Bastos, the resident artist David Karlsberg, offered a very emotional serenade, which was highly appreciated by those present.
Besides this event, there were also an exhibition of books of Roa Bastos and other remarkable paraguayan writers.
OFFICIAL OPENING IBEROAMERICAN STAND IN THE INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR OF JERUSALEM 2017
12/06/2017 - With an Official Event organized by the Cervantes Institute of Tel Aviv, was officially inaugurated the stand "IBEROAMERICAN LETTERS" - OF THE INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF THE BOOK OF JERUSALEM 2017, in which the spanish-speaking embassies in Israel, have join effors for that their respective countries can be present in the most important event of the literature in Israel.

PARAGUAY - LAND OF OPORTUNITIES
11/06/2017 - A meeting was held with Israeli businessmen, as part of the course given by the Israel-Latin America Chamber of Commerce on the challenges and opportunities to do business in Latin America for Israeli entrepreneurs .
On the occasion, Consul Fernando Allo made a video presentation of PARAGUAY TODAY and PARAGUAY LAND OF OPORTUNITIES, emphasizing the fundamental axes outlined during the last Official Business Visit of the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Gustavo Leite, to Israel.
MEETING - MINISTER LEITE AND MK NAVA BOKER
During the Businessmen Official visit, headed by H.E. Gustavo Leite, Minister of Industry and Commerce to Israel, a meeting was held with MK Nava Boker , Deputy Speaker of the Knesset and Chair of Israel-Paraguay Parliamentary Friendship Group.
On that opportunity Minister Gustavo Leite highlighted and reaffirmed that present ties of friendship and cordiality between Paraguay and Israel continue and it is the intention to further boost the commercial relations .
Minister Leite invited MK Nava Boker to come to Paraguay, together with a businessmen delegation during the next MERCOSUR - Protempore Presidency of Paraguay

JOINT COOPERATION MOU - CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PARAGUAYO ISRAELI AND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ISRAEL-LATIN AMERICA
06/06/2017 - During the Seminar PARAGUAY "LAND OF OPPORTUNITIES", a Joint Cooperation MOU betwen the Paraguay-Israel Chamber of Commerce and the Israel-Latinamerica Chamber of Commerce was signed.
The signatories were H.H. Alejandro Rubin, for CACOPI and Mr. Roberto Spindel, for CC Israel - LATAM.
The MOU was also signed by H.E. Gustavo Leite Gusinky, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay, as a witness of honor.

06/06/2017 - On the same opportunity a Business Seminar PARAGUAY "LAND OF OPPORTUNITIES" took place. On that ocassion, the main speaker was H.E. Gustavo Leite Gusinky, Minister of Industry and Commerce.
During his presentation, Minister Leite offers the advantages of Paraguay for investors and Israeli entrepreneurs. The event took place at the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce in Tel Aviv.

The Embassy of the Republic of Paraguay was at the Closing Ceremony of the "Renewable Energies" Course organized by the Arava Institute and the International Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, MASHAV. 206th Anniversary of The Independence of Paraguay
The Embassy of the Republic of Paraguay in Israel commemorated the 206th anniversary of the National Independence in the city of Herzliya with an official ceremony and reception offered to the Israeli authorities, diplomatic corps, Paraguayan residents and businessmen.

The Embassy of the Republic of Paraguay in Israel participated in the International Tourism Fair "IMTM 2017", which took place in the International Exhibition Center in Tel-Aviv, on February 7th and 8th 2017.

Ambassador Max Haber, received a delegation of Israeli businessmen interested in exploring investment opportunities in Paraguay. During the occasion, a video of "Paraguay Land of Opportunities" was presented at the Embassy.
