REPATRIATIONS

The Repatriation Application form must be completed and sent to the Consulate, with the list of goods and documents required in the same. It is important to note that applicants must prove with valid documents their Paraguayan nationality and their continued residence in the State of Israel, for a minimum period of two (2) years.

 

Once verified the data the Consulate will issue a Certificate in the name of the returnee. The issuance of the Certificate is exempt from the Consular Fee, as well as the legalization of personal documents of Paraguayans who prove their status as returnees and their immediate family.

 

The Certificate must be presented in a timely manner to the Development Secretariat for Returnees and Refugees in Paraguay.

Repatriation grants franchises for the entry of repatriated goods, household utensils, instruments of work for their profession or office, free of taxes, tariffs and other charges, including dispatch rate, as well as any other type of tax.

 

The goods introduced into the country under this exemption are subject to physical verification by the competent national authorities in the Republic of Paraguay.

 

Procedures to be carried out in the State of Israel

1. It is a personal process. Applications are not allowed by mail.

2. The Paraguayan nationality has to be proved with the PASSPORT or ID.

3. Continuing residence in the State of Israel for a minimum of two (2) years (Must be proved with BILLS OF PUBLIC SERVICES / DRIVER LICENSE).

4. Complete the Repatriation Application form.

5. List of goods in three copies.

6. The original bill of lading and copy

7. Two photos 5 x 5 cm, with white background.

The procedure is FREE.

The Consulate issues a CERTIFICATE in the name of the returnee and legalizes the personal documents of the applicant as well as those of the immediate family members.
